J. Alexander Productions views good governance and strong internal management of our business as integral to our corporate social responsibility (CSR). Our company and associates are committed to doing their part to consistently give back to the community from which we work and live. We pledge to conduct our business in a socially and environmentally responsible manner, a committment that stems from our mission statement.
From providing free theatrical performances to State, County, and City agencies who serve low-income families to donating a percentage of our ticket sales to area non-profit organizations, J. Alexander Productions is all about serving the people and communities in all three counties of Delaware. In 2010, we have organized "RUN FREEDOM RUN... URINETOWN CAST RACES FOR CLEAN WATER" walk/run for early June. The proceeds raised from this event will be donated to DEEC (DuPont Environmental Education Center) at the Wilmington Riverfront. Additionally we have donated thousands of dollars in free tickets and in-kind advertising.
In 2009, we designated a portion of our proceeds to benefit The Delaware Children's Theatre, a local nonprofit organization devoted to providing exceptional theatrical experiences for the entire family. Additionally, we donated over $12,000 in free tickets and advertising to community nonprofits.
In 2008, we donated $3,000 to two worthy non-profits and offered thousands of dollars in free tickets and advertising, making theatre accessible even for those who couldn't afford to attend.
